38 Special - Landing Gear

2 landing legs in pack.
This landing gear is meant to be used with profile aircraft and is made from hardened Aluminium alloy.
Very strong and suitable for most aircraft from engine size .15 (2.5cc) and up.
Ideally mounted in front of the wing (watch out for tank placement) and positioned in height to give at least 12mm of propeller tip clearance when the plane is held slightly nose down on the ground.
For the strongest fit, glue some spare engine bearer into slots you make in the fuselage and bolt straight through using 3mm bolts, or similar.

Size. Generally lighter and smaller than the Shoestring Landing Gear.

Width (across the 'Y') - approx 168mm. Add the width of the fuselage.
Height (Total from Bottom to Top) - approx 104mm.
Fuselage Mount Tang (incuded in total height) - approx 35mm Heigh x 26mm wide, with 3 bolt holes.
Wheel Mount Tang - (incuded in total height) approx 15mm H x 15mm wide with 1 x 4mm Axle hole.
No Wheel Pant holes.
Mount Holes - To suit 3mm or 4-40 bolts.
Weight of 2 Legs (only) - approx 25g
